B.A.E.’s Mission

B.A.E. was established, from my love of art, Poetry, books and most importantly my strong desire to work for myself. After years of analyzing streetwear branding, I came to the conclusion that women need something of their own, that promotes their abilities, that highlights their strength, and mainly something that shines light on their power.

My mission was to create something different, something unique that would correlate with a woman’s phenomenal nature. Creating a foundation for Women of all kind, to feel free and confident to embrace their natural power. To be able to wear their pride, dignity, and most importantly their personality with style. Our mission was to create something different, something unique that would correlate with a woman’s phenomenal nature. This was the birth of B.A.E.

Mario Mena

Mario Mena (b. 1991), a.k.a. Hyperdimensional Being is an oil painter born in Mexico and raised on the south side of Chicago. His spark in the visual arts and painting took a serious turn in 2009 when he became part of a youth collaborative, in which he learned to develop bodies of work and help curate seven pop-up galleries throughout the Chicagoland area.  During this time his surreal and visionary influences were emulated through his painting style and subject matter in which color blended landscapes and figures became the main focus. Through dozens of galleries and live painting events, Mario has become more concerned with provoking a reaction or inspiration in the viewer.  This in turn has made live painting events in collaboration with local bands and DJs more enjoyable because of the conversations they inspire.  The learning process of life’s experiences and those on the canvas have proven helpful and continue to provoke personal growth.
