Rayas Series
Most of these paintings are on 12”x12” wooden panels, and framed. I used mostly acrylic for this series. The wooden panels paintings were influenced by my other modernism work, specifically a piece of mine which started it all called, “Rayas al Sol #9” which, is 22”x30”. Most of these are 12”x12” wooden panels. No more of this series will be made unless commissioned to make one. I use wooden panels because I love the natural feeling of them as opposed to canvas fabric. I try to not use the same colors throughout these paintings compositions, because each color helps bring out every other color just like each one of us helps bring out the good in others. They are more like mosaics for me, and a puzzle to be completed once started.
These really go well together in sets of 3, especially when used as accent pieces to add to your wall. Below are the ones I still have available.
