4 Ladies Series
This series was inspired by a magazine that I ran as a collective in college. The magazine was called, “Counterstories” and it was a magazine geared toward displaying regular day to day stories of people in our community. We also had sections on book reviews, pop-culture, and play reviews that were small independent theater plays in Chicago. We met once a month and did everything DIY. The original piece was created on Adobe Illustrator, for the other pieces I used acrylic, newspaper, spray paint, cut-outs, acrylic, and oil.
